Harvest news
Oct 12, 2020
We're underway - and the first grapes in the bin are our pinot meunier - the lesser known of the sparkling wine varieties. After the glorious weather of mid September things turned decidedly wet and cool in the last week of the month to the point that we delayed the beginning of harvest by 5 days. This year we have an absolutely bumper crop of top quality fruit. The grapes for sparkling are taken first, followed by consignments for still chardonnay, rosé and, of course, pinot gris. Looking good!
