We’re delighted to share some wonderful news from the vineyard. Our newly released Heppington Blanc de Blancs 2019 has been awarded a Gold Medal at the London Wine Competition 2026.

For a small family-run vineyard in the Kent Downs, moments like this mean a great deal. Every bottle we make carries years of work in the vineyard, patience in the winery, and a deep belief in what English wine can be. To see our Blanc de Blancs recognised on an international stage is something we’re incredibly proud of.

The London Wine Competition is judged by leading buyers, sommeliers and wine professionals, with awards given not only for quality, but also for value and packaging. That wider approach makes this recognition especially meaningful, as it celebrates the full experience of enjoying and choosing a bottle of wine.

Our Blanc de Blancs 2019 is a wine that reflects both our vineyard and our style - elegant, expressive and shaped by the chalk-rich soils of the Kent Downs. Crafted in the traditional method and aged with care, it is a bottle made for celebrations, long lunches and special occasions shared with friends and family.

We’d like to thank everyone who has supported Heppington along the way - whether you’ve visited the vineyard, joined us at an event, stocked our wines, or opened a bottle at home. Your support allows a small independent vineyard like ours to keep growing and keep making wines we’re proud to put our name to.
