Defrosted

So after a week of following stories of the destruction caused by below zero temperatures to so many vineyards up and down the country and anxiously following the temperature forecast on our ClimateVine app, we finally got frosted in the not so early hours of Friday. But, thank goodness, with minimal damage to leaves in a small percentage of the vineyard. So we've dodged it. Effective frost protection measures are beyond the resources and means of many smaller vineyards and our hearts go out to those who have been hit. A difficult year just got more challenging.
