Our first news post was on 12th April last year and featured vine buds bursting through. This year the chill spring has meant the buds are taking their time to emerge from hibernation. Which may be no bad thing given the frosts we have had in recent days. Unlike in France where early bud burst left the vines at the mercy of severe frost causing devastation to crops across the country. Just hoping we don't get zapped when the buds finally decide to venture forth. The perils of climate change.
